CANON UPDATES
Players may request a canon update for their characters. To do so, please fill out the form below.
ICly, canon updates mean that a character will walk themselves, for reasons no one yet knows, into one of the cryopods and freeze themselves for a period of 48 hours. They will wake up still in whatever clothes they were wearing before and with no additional items, but with memories and any abilities they may have gained in canon (subject to possible nerfs).
Please note that this process only starts once the canon update has been approved by the mods.

Brief outline of influential events and personality changes:
- Found out about Naomi giving the protomolecule to the Belt, was super pissed but ended up forgiving her, partly because he can't lose a second family (see point below) and partly because he can't really say that he wouldn't do the same, for Mars, if he had the guts for it. At least not before he knew they already had it and fucked everyone over, woops.
- Finally got in contact with his fucking family and told them he was alive - (good job Alex) - so he's getting a divorce but at least his son is proud of him. He's a lot more at peace with his failed family life than he was, but even by the end of Season 3 he hasn't gone back to see them (though Bobbie went on his behalf).
- Rescued Bobbie Draper and Chrisjen Avasarala, after some initial tensions ended up very close friends with Bobbie, and her friendship means a lot to him and has an impact on events later.
- Io: While everyone else was on the moon and off saving Mei and fighting Hybrids, Alex had to watch several dozen protomolecule hybrid pods launch towards Mars. After using up all the ammo they had to destroy a few of them, he couldn't sit and wait for them to reach his home planet. Taking the Razorback (and Naomi, when she spoke up), he flew to the Agatha King and the two of them managed to find a way to stop the pods and save Mars. It took Naomi convincing them to trust Fred Johnson, but they did and they saved Mars, yay, heroes of the system.
- TIME SKIP SIX MONTHS: Still can't go home because Mars is suing them for their ship. The protomolecule made a giant ring that goes into a fucked up weird space, Holden and the Roci get framed for a terrorist action and end up getting driven into it, a lot of fucked up shit happens and the major take away is that Alex is Terrified by All of It and is starting to believe that it's fate that has them condemned to be shit magnets. A lot of people die, a lot of people have to work together, Alex manages to Keep Him and Amos and Others from getting killed through the ~Power of Friendship~ and the protomolecule Rings end up opening, giving Humanity access to tens of thousands of planets it didn't have before, and Alex Does Not Know How He Feels About That. In Reverie, it'll give him more hope about being able to get home - they just need to find a ring, somehow!!
PERSONALITY CHANGES: Alex will be a lot more at peace with himself and with his history, having finally accepted (to a degree) who he is and the fact that his marriage has failed - but he knows now that the Roci is where he's supposed to be and that his place there is something worth fighting for. Also he saved Mars, so he did protect his family. He doesn't understand the universe much anymore because what the fuck but he knows his priorities - his crew, and protecting as many people as possible. Which while he kind of was gaining an understanding of this before, he has accepted now that this is what makes him worthwhile.

Brief outline of influential events and personality changes:
- was betrayed by Naomi, who gave the protomolecule to the OPA without telling the Roci crew, which very much impacted Amos, who trusted more than anyone else. He found himself adrift; Naomi was his main anchor and now he can't trust her anymore.
- Imprinted on Prax and started telling him more about his own background, liking himself to the protomolecule hybrids, but also teaching Prax how to properly use firearms, helping him find a place on the Roci. The two of them work together and learn from each other, and Amos stays staunch about going to get Mei for Prax, always having his back.
- Rescue Avasarala and Bobbie; weird, sort of amused fondness for Avasarala, and after a bit of a tough start, a working relationship with Bobbie. He trusts her.
- On Io, Amos sticks to Prax. This is a turning point - they find the kidnapped kids, and Prax calls him his best friend in the world, trusting Mei with Amos, which means everything to Amos. He prevents Prax from killing the kidnapper, reminding him that he is a better person than a murderer, and instead, kills Strickland himself. It's a turning point because it is Amos accepting what he is - he is a killer, but he does it for what he considers the right reasons. And here he is saving Prax from committing something he knows Prax will never forget himself for at the end of the day.
- The kids, Prax, and Mei are dropped on Ganymede. The Roci - now without Naomi, who decided to join Fred Johnson's efforts (before she and Amos could make up, as well) - is on its way to 'the Ring', a protomolecule-created huge gate in space. The Roci has to go there, with just Holden, Alex and Amos on board as crew, accompanied by some nosy filmmakers, who both hit on Amos and get turned down (while he pines about Prax, making wall air filters with plants that he calls 'Prax panels'). The cameraman turns out to be a saboteur and locks out the Roci's... basically everything as a terrorist attack takes a UNN ship out, and Holden gets the blame for it. The only way for them to survive is to drive through the ring, ending up in this weird protomolecule space where you die if you go too fast. A lot of things happen, none of them great, but what matters is: Naomi comes back to the Roci and saves Alex and Amos, leading the beginning of a mend in hers and Amos's relationship.
- The Roci crew (minus Holden) meet Melba, who was behind the terrorist attack, and Anna, a pastor with speech making abilities, whom Amos immediately imprints on, when he realises how good she is. She wants to help and save everyone, and she looks after people like him back home, which means a lot to him, and he promises to keep her alive and well and safe as they set out a plan to get free of the slow zone.
- Shit happens, the ring opens up all sorts of multiverse gates all over, the Roci and its crew come out safe, all is well I guess???
What it all means for Amos: more assured of his own choices now, even if he's still seeking the morals of other people. His relationship with Naomi is still on the mend but getting better. Amos misses Prax, but has found someone he trusts in Anna, and he is easier to trust at this point. He knows himself better, and he has softened somewhat, more willing to help and do the right thing, even if it doesn't bring him anything in return.
